a parent volunteer that operates and updates the website. No fees are collected for its operation.

A: If
you need to ask a question to Diane Koutsulis, Director of Bands, you will find her email and phone numbers in the Faculty

Q: Do I have to play
an instrument to join the marching band?
A: Although that would be helpful,
there are students that have shown up for band camp with no musical experience and then learned to play their instrument.
Q: If I have a fund-raising idea, how
do I share it?
A: You should first call or email Mrs. Koutsulis with your
idea. She will then place you on the agenda for the next Band Booster meeting to present your idea.
Q:Do we accept checks or cash for band fundraisers?
A:
Cash and checks are accepted for fundraisers and Band Booster shirts. They should be payable to GVHS Band.
Q: Can we give checks or pay with credit card for band fees?
A:
Cash or Money orders are accepted only for band fees like band camp, uniform, winter drum line, and band trips. These
should be given to Christina Villas(Band Aide) or Sandi Karavas (School Banker). However, you can send credit card payments
through www.ShowTix4u.com to pay band trips. There is a small transaction fee.

Q: Do we have to take our child to Away Football Game Performances?
A: No, the students usually meet at the Green Valley Band room and take a bus to Away
Football Games. The bus returns to Green Valley following the game.
Q: How do I clean the band uniform?
A: On the Members Page, you can download the uniform cleaning guide in PDF format.
